Abortion: A Call to Action

Abortion is a stigma on our nation and even our world’s history. It is a blight born of a hatred for personal accountability, and in an age where reason was often set aside in lieu of appeasing special interest groups.

It’s amazing to me how much restraint is shown by opposition of abortion. To pro lifers, this goes beyond politics, this goes beyond simple topics for debate.

This is genocide.

It’s going on in our own cities, our own states, in our nation. In a land where people hold the power of sway, it is allowed and even considered a right.

But it wasn’t so much decided by the people that abortion was a woman’s right. It was decided by 7 supreme court justices that according to the due process clause of the 14th amendment, women had a natural right to murder their own unborn children with a doctor’s aid.

The due process clause states:

nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law;

I am no law professor but the fact that this is what was used to justify genocide is a bit insane. That’s not an exaggeration. 7 men decided that to protect a person’s life, liberty, and property, the best way to do this was to have them take someone else’s life, liberty, and any opportunity to own property, without due process of law. It’s shocking aberrant cognitive dissonance.

So in a heartbeat we handed over generations of youth to the open and waiting arms of Margaret Sanger’s Planned Parenthood. The woman is noted to have said:

The most merciful thing that the large family does to one of its infant members is to kill it.

[We should] apply a stern and rigid policy of sterilization and segregation to that grade of population whose progeny is tainted, or whose inheritance is such that objectionable traits may be transmitted to offspring.

Birth control must lead ultimately to a cleaner race.

We should hire three or four colored ministers, preferably with social-service backgrounds, and with engaging personalities. The most successful educational approach to the Negro is through a religious appeal. We don’t want the word to go out that we want to exterminate the Negro population, and the minister is the man who can straighten out that idea if it ever occurs to any of their more rebellious members.

So that there is not a constant burning down of abortion clinics, abortion doctors houses, that these people aren’t run out of our communities on a rail, every single day, is a massive testament to the restraint shown by the pro life movement. I’d like to applaud them on that restraint.

Not only all of this but it has now come to light that Planned Parenthood is selling organs of aborted babies. There have been numerous videos released which show high level planned parenthood employees haggling for cost like they’re talking about buying a car. In fact, one such employee joked that she was haggling because she wanted a lamborghini.

The pro-abortion folks of course stated that these were highly edited, despite the fact that they were released in full with no editing and submitted to a forensic analysis which confirmed that there was no editing. Of course if you are in such denial as to think it is morally conscienable to murder people’s children for money, while boasting about wanting to make more money from the practice, you’re likely to be capable of any amount of mental gymnastics.

I hate abortion. Any sane person hates abortion, but talking to these abortionists can make the very rigid lines of morality seem a bit floppy. They have a very loud voice, they like to use it, and they have a sense of righteous indignation about them which induces almost instant fear. Most just sit silently by because when they tried to confront the issue, they were confronted back by someone who was more prepared for that type of discussion than they were.

Well folks, I argue professionally. OK maybe I don’t get paid for it, but I do it a lot. So I’m going to provide you with some ammo to handle these discussions better. So the following are some responses you might get when you state the fact that abortion is murder, and Planned Parenthood is a group of murderers.

“You are not a woman, you don’t have any right to tell a woman what to do, this is none of your business./You haven’t walked in their shoes so this is none of your business.”

So right off the bat they’ve taken half of their opposition out. How do you argue with this without seeming misogynistic? It’s a false dilemma. The issue is not about a woman’s body. It’s about the body of the woman’s unborn child. It is entitled to life. The woman is not entitled to take that away.

You could also bring up that many women are killed due to them being aborted. What about their rights? What about their choice?

You could also play the sexism card. Perhaps not because you care about such nonsensical things, but because the opposition does. And if they’re going to beep the sexist horn, you can beep it right back. Why? Because they just told you that you can’t talk about something because you’re a man. That’s sexism.

On the “Walking in their shoes” argument, if this were the case, then only murderers could convict murderers. Only gun owners could comment on gun ownership or legislate on it. It’s just not the world we live in.
Aside from that, you don’t need any qualifications to determine that murder is evil and murder is wrong. You don’t have to have any certain genitalia or experience to know that. This issue is everyone’s business. Everyone should be speaking about it until we come to the logical conclusion that it is evil and should be done away with as a practice, and that anyone who attempts it, should be jailed.

“It’s a woman’s right to have an abortion. It’s their body, their right.”

Again, bring up all of the above. Also, bring up the fact that thousands of babies are aborted when it is found out that they are female. In many cultures boys are simply preferrable so women will abort their female babies. This is eugenics, though Margaret Sanger would have been proud, she was very fond of Eugenics. As was Hitler.

The main point though is, this is not their body. There is another being inside their body, and their choice was made when they had sex. You might mention that it was frivolous sex, as it was, because in marriages abortions are statistically unlikely and the majority of abortions are for frivolous reasons. Here’s the breakdown of stated reasons women get abortions.

• 21% Inadequate finances –
• 21% Not ready for responsibility
• 16% Woman’s life would be changed too much
• 12% Problems with relationships, unmarried
• 11% Too young and/or immature
• 8% Children are grown; she has all she wants
• 3% Baby has possible health problems
• <1% Pregnancy caused by rape/incest
• 4% Other

The first seven reasons boil down to “I am irresponsible.” In which case adoption is always an option.

A lot of people like to pretend that having frivolous sex is a given. You have to do it, no escaping it, you WILL have sex out of wedlock. That’s simply not the case. It’s a commonly held view, but it does not reflect reality. You always have a choice, and that’s the only choice that should be made. After a pregnancy has occurred, the only option you have is having the baby if you are adhering to any moral standard whatsoever.

And yes, you read that correctly. Rape and incest accounts for less than 1% of abortions.

“It’s just a clump of cells, it is not a life.”

Babies are aborted far past viability. The most premature baby on record was born at 21 weeks. He survived outside of his mother’s body and is perfectly healthy. He’s my age. Babies are aborted past 21 weeks all the time.

James Elgin Gill (born on 20 May 1987 in Ottawa, Canada) was the earliest premature baby in the world. He was 128 days premature (21 weeks and 5 days gestation) and weighed 1 pound 6 ounces (624 g). He survived and is quite healthy. Amillia Taylor is also often cited as the most premature baby.

Babies even survive abortions when they are late term. Although these are often left with horrific disfigurements. They’re often burned with saline in the womb or attempted to be dismembered so they will have body length scars or missing limbs, but one does make it through from time to time.

Even when we are what they call “a clump of cells, the human brain begins forming as early as 8 weeks, we abort past 21 weeks. I believe life begins at conception but even the most staunch pro-aborter will pause at this fact.

There is no support for the clump of cells/previability argument. This is an important point, do not let it go.

“Sometimes birth control fails, should I have to live the rest of my life with an anchor because you say so?”

After you pause for a moment to let them replay the horrible thing they just said, come back with this.

If you know birth control sometimes fails, and you know that the consequences of sex, any time you have it, no matter what, COULD be a baby, even if that is just a small chance, then you accepted that risk when you had sex.

Even if you did not know this, which would mean you are as sheltered and poorly informed as Ross from Friends, if you become pregnant, you do not simply have a right to murder YOUR CHILD because it’s inconvenient. Adoption is always an option! If you are going to ruin a child’s life, and the child will ruin yours, please, by all means, give it to someone who cares. There are so many loving people out there. You have 9 months, find an adoptive family, interview them, and give them your baby.

This goes back to the idea that frivolous sex is a given. It’s just not. You don’t have to do that.

“So you would have a rape or incest victim or 9 year old carry that baby to term and live with that?”

All over the world, horrible traumatic things that we carry with us for the rest of our lives happen. Scars that last forever, both physically and mentally. Women have acid thrown in their face, men have their arms torn off, people lose their sight, their hearing to trauma. It’s a lifelong condition in all of these cases. It’s just the miserable reality of trauma.

Again, adoption is always an option. If you can’t love the child that rape or incest produced, please find someone who can and give that child to them.

And for a 9 year old to have to go through pregnancy is awful, despicable, and whoever did it to her should be dragged into the street and shot, but 5 year olds have done it. Which means it is possible without being life threatening. It may not be what you chose for your daughter, it may be horribly unfair because God knows pregnancy is extremely difficult. But that difficulty does not outweigh the worth of life. Life is something we must hold sacred above all else.

That’s what our argument boils down to. Nothing supersedes life. Least of all is comfort, which is why the majority of abortions are performed. To ensure that the patient remains comfortable and does not have to become uncomfortable. That’s what their argument boils down to.

“But Planned Parenthood (or Susan G. Komen, or any other entity which supports or performs abortions) does so much more besides abortions!”

So? Does the fact that a killer does good deeds exempt him from punishment for his murders?

Say there is a world famous neurosurgeon.

His life’s research has saved thousands of lives.

His surgeries have saved hundreds.

He has pioneered new medical practices.

But every week he goes and finds one person, kills them, dismembers them, and then sells their parts on the black market.

Would it matter that he was anything but a psychopathic killer?

It doesn’t matter that Planned Parenthood is anything but a group of psychopathic killers.

And they kill a lot more than one person per week, not to mention they start killing in the black neighborhoods. 39% of abortions are performed on young black women. A whole generation of black people has been wiped out since 1973. Doctors, Lawyers, Scientists perhaps. Maybe one of them would have cured cancer.

That’s not being silly or daydreaming. That’s real. 10 million black lives that didn’t matter at all to their mothers or the doctors that killed them. 10 million.

10 million.

It bears repeating. So no, I don’t care that planned parenthood does mammograms. I don’t care that Susan G. Komen supports breast cancer research (by the way the majority of their budget goes to “public awareness” which we may as well call “advertising.”)

If you dip even your toe in the cesspool of the abortion industry, you are defiled in my book. A little leaven leavens the whole lump. There are thousands and thousands of women’s health clinics, that are ACTUAL women’s health clinics with ACTUAL doctors who deserve your business far more than the doctors who VIOLATE their hippocratic oath and MURDER THEIR PATIENTS.

So if you die because you didn’t get your cancer screening because planned parenthood was being picketed, then you’re really just dying because you didn’t want to go down the road. If it was me, and I couldn’t go to one doctor, by golly, I’d go to another. There are only 2 planned parenthoods in my whole state. Go elsewhere folks. I shed not a tear for your inconvenience in the face of genocide.

“F*** you, you pig, you birther, you breeder, you f***ing idiot.”

– All things I have been called today, indicating that I won the argument at hand, or at least made someone think enough about it to get mad. You can too.

Please talk about this.

Please bring it up.

Please make it uncomfortable.

Ruin dinner. Ruin the holidays for someone. Tell them that life is the most important thing in the entire world.

Tell them abortion is murder.
The other side of this does not have the support. They do not have the numbers to win this debate.
They just have a louder voice. You need to change that.

The entire world can be changed with debate. This is worth losing friends over. It’s worth hurting feelings.

54 MILLION abortions have had the silent stamp of approval by US citizens since 1973.

Do not remain silent, do not let this rest. Get the word out: Abortion is murder.

The Call of Jeremiah

4The word of the Lord came to me, saying, 5“Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations.”

Jeremiah 1:4 – 5
